We've joined Perfect Match
In 2022 roughly 24,000 Australians were diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. This year in conjunction with Men’s Health Week and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, the Birt Boys have all decided to do their bit for those families impacted by this disease.
During the week of Sunday 4 June to Saturday 10 June Will, Hamish, Lachlan and I will be walking 15,000 steps per day (approx. 12kms), culminating in a 24km walk on the last day. On Saturday 10th June we plan to walk from Dee Why Rockpool at 9am to Palm Beach. We would love anyone to join us along the way.
All the money we raise will go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) for research into the fight against prostate cancer. Through their research funding, PCFA has helped lift survival rates from 61% thirty years ago to 95% today.
Furthermore, all money raised will be matched by Perfect Match’s Campaign Partners Tyrepower, Hire A Hubby and Tabcorp.
We are in for a big week of pounding the pavements and bush tracks. We would love you to join any of us during the week and provide some moral support and/or donate to this worthy cause.
